About The University of Kent

We offer an inspiring and challenging student experience that prepares students for the future.

Kent provides a wealth of European and international opportunities for study, work and travel, a stimulating and effective learning community that focuses on the individual and excellent research-led teaching.

There is a strong emphasis on graduate employability and skills acquisition and we offer a range of extra-curricular activities, support and services.

Our campuses and centres provide stunning locations for study and offer first-class academic and leisure facilities. Kent is one of the UK’s leading universities, our academics produce world-class research and we are leading the way in many fields of study. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) it was recognised that 97% of Kent’s staff work in schools or centres where the research is classed as world-leading, meaning the academic school that you join is contributing to its field by publishing new research and developing new theories.

We have a rich and diverse student population with students from 145 nationalities studying at Kent. This gives you the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and gives us a very valuable global alumni network. We have two UK campuses, Canterbury and Medway, as well as a part-time study centre in Tonbridge and postgraduate centres in Brussels, Paris and Rome. No matter where your studies are based, you have access to all our resources, enabling you to achieve your full potential and gain the most from your student experience.
