About Conservatoire for Dance and Drama

The Conservatoire is a publicly-funded HEI composed of 8 schools: BOVTS, CSB, LAMDA, LCDS, National Centre for Circus Arts, NSCD, Rambert School & RADA.

We exist to train artists who will match the world’s best and on entering their professions shape the future of dance, drama and circus arts.

The Conservatoire is one of the most innovative and exciting Higher Education Institutions in the UK. Each of the Conservatoire’s eight schools is a small, specialist institution with an international reputation for high quality training. Students benefit from an unrivalled quality of teaching, to which access is given regardless of background or financial circumstances.

The Conservatoire is publicly-funded. UK and EU students are eligible for government-sponsored loans and grants as well as financial aid provided by the Conservatoire and schools.
