Lancaster student lettings agent, the infamous Mr John Derek Sanderson was the subject of a Rogue Traders “sting” aired on BBC Watchdog this week.
Rogue Traders investigated John Sanderson, who ran Lancaster Property Network Management (LPNM) The team investigated why he left landlords and tenants in the lurch owing them many thousands of pounds.
Lancashire Police have received reports from Action Fraud relating to the company, and are currently assessing the evidence.
LPNM is now in the hands of Preston-based liquidators Jackson Wright and Co Financial Recovery after going into voluntary liquidation in September.
For over 20 years, Mr Sanderson has held directorships across Lancashire in 22 different companies. These companies included Cable Street Investments Ltd, now dissolved having last presented accounts in 2008 and Lancaster Property Acquisitions Ltd, now dissolved having also last presented accounts in 2008. Overall, of the 22 appointments that Mr Sanderson has undertaken in the last 20 years, 16 are now closed.
