The full Glastonbury 2016 lineup has finally emerged with some great acts joining previously announced headliners Muse, Adele and Coldplay. Plus legend-slot crew Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Naturally, LCD Soundsystem continue their comeback with a slot at Glastonbury 2016.
Other notable additions include Foals, arguably Britain’s current greatest band, plus the return of 90s singer song-writer Beck. From rock to grime, Skepta is given pride of place on the line-up poster, with Stormzy also representing the scene. It’s good to see grime hasn’t been ignored by Glasto.
Glastonbury 2016 line up
Female artists on the line-up include Laura Mvula, previously announced Jess Glynne, Little Simz, Lady Leshurr, the increasingly overlooked Ellie Goulding, previously announced PJ Harvey, Grimes, Annie Mac, Dua Lipa, Chvrches, Wolf Alice, Lapsley & more. An incredible representation of brilliant women in music today.
Disclosure lead things in the dance department. Perhaps they will take Rudimental’s place and headline The Other Stage this year. It’s extremely likely and very fitting. Other electronic artists include Floating Points and Carl Cox.
Emerging and recent break-through acts championed on the Glastonbury 2016 line-up include Jack Garratt and Blossoms.
Plus Nao, Bastille, Daughter, Hinds, The Lumineers, M83, James Blake, Years & Years and loads, loads more. Plus, as we all know this is just the beginning of what’s to come at Worthy Farm 2016 – with some of the most-loved times happening in smaller tents, and raving with Arcadia.
