Safest UK Student Cities & Towns - League Table
The Complete University Guide have compiled rankings based on official police data for crime rates in the neighbourhoods of each university in the year to April 2015
Crimes most likely to affect students – burglary, robbery and violent and sexual offences were counted.
The statistics are derived from data produced by police.uk, Ordnance Survey and the Office for National Statistics, and used under Open Government Licence v3.
The ranking is based on the relative levels of crimes of relevance to students. It does not record crimes in which students are themselves involved.
So where is the safest university location in England and Wales?

The guide ranked University of Buckingham, Falmouth University and Durham University as the institutions with the lowest cumulative crime rates in England and Wales.
Kingston University, was ranked the lowest of all the London universities for crime, based on incidents per 1,000 residents
