4Challenge - 380 mile cycle ride in aid of a great charity
Today marks the start of the 4Challenge
4Challenge was established in 2015 to support those who find themselves battling cancer through raising significant funds for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity. Like many who seek to stand alongside those going through unimaginable suffering, we wanted to find a way to challenge ourselves – physically, mentally and emotionally.
And so 4Challenge was born, this years challenge we will be cycling to the 4 Internet Exchange Points in England from 5th to 8th June.
The Internet Exchange Points are where Internet Service Providers, like ASK4 pass information to other providers such as Google, Facebook, the BBC and other household names.
The ride will take the challengers from London Docklands, to Manchester Science Park, to central Leeds and back to Sheffield.
That’s a mere 380 miles in 4 days.
The challengers will vary in ability, from ex-athletes to complete novices and experienced cyclists. It will be a real journey of grit and determination, as well as the sacrifice from family life. It will certainly push us all to the limit but we have a common cause to offer us the ultimate motivation.
