About Keele University

We are one of the UK's largest and most attractive university campuses with 617 acres of landscaped parkland, fields, woodlands and lakes and we are only 90 minutes from London by train from Stoke, 30 minutes from Manchester and Birmingham.

We are only 4 miles from Junction 15 of the M6. Three international airports serve our region. Keele is dedicated to helping our students make the most of their potential, and offers a safe and friendly community atmosphere, with some 3000 students living on campus, along with over 170 staff families.

Our Students' Union, KeeleSU', has been voted 4th in Which? University for nightlife. Between its four main venues, the Union can entertain 2400 students. Whether it's a live gig, a comedy night, a film showing or a student club or society (of which we have 65), the Union really is at the centre of campus life. 85% of academic research has been cited as of national and international excellence.

Our academic staff enjoy an enviable reputation worldwide. Their research underpins and informs the undergraduate teaching experience. Key areas of interest include ageing, global health and renewable energy.

Our community is represented by students from over 90 different countries and this is reflected in a number of the student societies celebrating the cultures found on campus. In addition, with 55 partner universities there is plenty of opportunity for students to gain a Study Abroad experience with all the benefit this offers.

Keele graduates are highly prized for their flexibility of thought and the maturity of their social skills.
